Hello my lovelies ,

Here we are again it's blog time. The launch on March 28th, was truly successful. Thank you again for all your support. I was on a cruise ship named Victory (how appropriate is that) when the site launched. I was super excited to see my pieces in print, I AM truly a blessed woman!.

I promised you in my last blog, that I would give you information on gems and Minerals so today I will start with one of my favorites.

Chrysocolla :

Known as the wisdom stone, Chrysocolla was considered a powerful talisman of healing and calming energy. Ancient rulers of the Biblical era relied on it for guidance. The mesmerizing swirls of color, blue, green and turquoise in Chrysocolla come from a unique combination of elements found in the rich mineral deposits of copper mines. When miners find a vein of blue green, all digging stops so that the delicate Chrysocolla can be extracted by hand. You can find it in the United States, Britain, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Zaire and Russia. You will see it frequently tumbled or polished. This tranquil and sustaining stone helps with meditation and communication, and within the home Chrysocolla draws off negative energies of all kinds. I hope you enjoyed learning a little about this fabulous stone that Mother Nature has gifted us, it's colors mirroring the sky, the ocean, and the earth.
